报告题目:A High-Accuracy Numerical Method for a Class of Nonlinear Time-fractional Wave Equations with Distributed Delay and Its Efficient Implementation
报告摘要:In this talk, we present an effective numerical method for solving a class of nonlinear time-fractional wave equations with distributed delay. Such equations arise in various physical phenomena. To tackle challenges related to temporal smoothness requirements, the original problem is first reformulated using a model based on fractional Riemann-Liouville integrals. A finite difference scheme is developed, achieving second-order accuracy in time and fourth-order accuracy in space. The convergence and stability of the scheme are rigorously analyzed using the discrete energy method. Also, a computationally efficient strategy is proposed. Numerical examples demonstrate the high accuracy and computational efficiency of the proposed methods.

报告人简介:冉茂华,四川师范大学数学科学学院教授,博士生导师,中国数学会计算数学分会第十届委员会理事,中国系统仿真学会仿真算法专业委员会委员,美国数学评论员。主要从事微分方程数值算法方面的研究工作。主持完成国家自然科学基金青年科学基金项目和四川省科技厅应用基础研究项目各一项,主持在研四川省自然科学基金面上项目一项。累计以第一作者或通讯作者在国内外计算数学相关刊物上发表SCI收录论文20余篇。
