报告题目：Hilbert Expansion of the Boltzmann Equation with Specular Boundary Condition in Half-Space

报告摘要：Boundary effects play an important role in the study of hydrodynamic limits in the Boltzmann theory. Based on a systematic study of the viscous layer equations and the $L^2$ to $L^\infty$ framework, we establish the validity of the Hilbert expansion for the Boltzmann equation with specular reflection boundary conditions, which leads to derivations of compressible Euler equations and acoustic equations in half-space.

报告人简介：王勇，中科院数学与系统科学研究院副研究员，国家级人才项目获得者，于2012年在中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院获得理学博士学位。毕业后赴香港中文大学进行博士后研究，并于2014回到中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院工作，现任助理研究员，从事非线性偏微分方程的研究,在Advance in Math., ARMA, CMP和SIAM-MAJ 等国际重要数学杂志发表论文数十篇.
